About The GROW Coach
I’m Peter, a leadership coach and facilitator based in Manchester, working with organisations across the UK.
I support individuals and teams to think clearly, have better conversations and move things forward. That might be through leadership coaching, career coaching or facilitating team sessions and away days that lead to clear action.
What I do
Most of my work sits across three areas:
Leadership coaching for managers and senior leaders
Team facilitation and away days
Workshops on communication, meetings, accessibility and personal effectiveness
I work mainly with universities, public sector organisations and teams where the work matters and the pressure can build.
My background
Before setting up The GROW Coach, I worked in Learning and Organisational Development at the University of Manchester.
That experience shapes how I work today. I understand the realities of large organisations, competing priorities and the challenge of getting people aligned without overcomplicating things.
I’ve worked with a wide range of teams, from senior leadership groups to operational teams, helping them step back, reflect and agree what needs to happen next.
How I work
My approach is straightforward.
I create space for honest conversation, bring an outside perspective and help turn discussion into something practical.
That means:
Keeping things focused and structured
Making sure all voices are heard
Challenging where needed
Moving towards clear decisions and actions
No jargon. No overcomplication. Just conversations that lead somewhere useful.

Where I work
I’m based in Manchester and regularly work with organisations across the North West and the wider UK.
